The blazes of most concern are those close to Mount Beauty (pictured), Jamieson and Whitfield in the state’s north-east.
Volunteers from around the Victoria, Tasmania and New Zealand area are still flat-out battling some of the biggest bushfires imaginable — and certainly the biggest in the last 25 years.
Anything you can do to help, just contact the Scientology Volunteer Minister Coordinator who can help direct you. Needed are donations, as well as trained volunteers who can go down to the fire front and assist the firemen to stay in action.
